Welcome! I'm glad you're here.

About Me
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC #16278).

I hold a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Prince Edward Island in Women's & Gender Studies.
Hello! I'm Erica. It is a privilege to do this work, and I am honoured to accompany my clients as they navigate life's challenges and begin to heal from painful experiences. Prior to opening my practice in Nanaimo in 2020, I worked in a post-secondary setting supporting students who had experienced sexualized violence. I continue to support survivors of trauma and abuse, as well as First Responders and Health Care Professionals experiencing burnout and operational stress injuries. I also support folks navigating relationship concerns, managing anxiety, grief/loss, and stress, as well as self-esteem and identity work.

I approach this work through attachment-based and trauma-informed frameworks. I believe that healing occurs when we (re)learn to feel safe within our bodies, relationships, and communities, and feel more seen and supported by trusted others.

When I'm not seeing clients, you can find me exploring in the forest, buying more books than I could ever possibly read, swimming in the ocean, or attempting to keep my plants alive. I have a 7-year-old cat named Abby, who is often getting up to no good.
